OMNI has a strong policy of social responsibility. We believe in giving back to the community and serving. We promote the ongoing training and development of all staff. Our staffing is structured to facilitate in house training and research. Staff are encouraged to improve their skills on an on going basis to elevate themselves within the practice and within the industry. Through our close association with tertiary institutions like the Durban University of Technology (D.U.T), we harvest many de serving students and enroll them into mentorship program for interns. These interns are taken through an orientation and placed under the supervision of a senior staff technologist of our company for further ongoing training. This has been a practice of OMA for many years. It is our way of giving back to society to mentor, train, and develop latent skills. This is our only way of contributing to the producing of our next generation of professionals. In keeping with our affirmative action policy, we are committed to adhering to the Affirmative Action program at all levels of its organization. Our staff is composed predominantly of previously disadvantaged persons (PDI’s) and has a strategy of hiring students from disadvantaged backgrounds to complete their experiential training.
